Pilar, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made our stay enjoyable. The hotel is situated in a peaceful village with great walking trails nearby. Parking is available. The rooms are comfortable, and there is a spacious living area and lovely balcony. Pilar cooked an excellent evening meal and provided a delicious breakfast. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing maps and dropping us off for walks. The terrace offers stunning mountain views. We would definitely return for more hiking adventures!

I just had the most mind-blowing stay in this jaw-dropping old house in a tiny village! The room was super spacious and beautifully maintained, with access to a terrace. The owner, Pilar, was incredibly helpful and even cooked me a special dietary paella. Castell de Castells is a hidden gem for hiking and it's perfect for a relaxing getaway. I can't wait to come back!

The driving instructions to the hotel were misleading and the roads were windy and narrow.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy inn nestled in the Marina Alta area of Spain. The spacious room provided a separate sitting area for ultimate relaxation. The dining area in the basement, with its thick stone walls, added to the charming ambiance. We enjoyed a delicious paella for dinner and Pilar even prepared a picnic lunch for our day of hiking. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Pilar, Juanjo, and their daughter Pili made our stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for a cozy and delightful stay.

Converted 19th-century house with charming stone walls and wooden beams. Large terrace with stunning mountain views. Delicious traditional cuisine for this good diner who values gastronomy. Time for relaxation and well-being in a peaceful setting.
Shame that the scenic mountain view was partially blocked by opaque glass squares.

What a gem of a place! A beautiful, traditional and authentic Spanish property perfect for walkers and cyclists. The proprietors were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast on the terrace was a beautifully prepared continental option with an abundance of delicious food. The room was beautifully clean and it felt like staying in a traditional Spanish home. There are 3/4 little bars nearby within a stone's throw and parking available in a general car park. It was a wonderful stay and we'll never forget it.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the room was comfortable and clean. We had two large double beds and a friendly landlady who welcomed us. Other than that, there really wasn't much to like about this hotel. the town itself was incredibly quiet, with only a few bars that weren't very welcoming. the only saving grace was that the room had a balcony, which offered a nice view. But overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're looking for a lively and enjoyable holiday.
The location was a real disappointment. There was absolutely nothing to do in the town.
